Repair Compounds

Bill Spitzer & Associates offers traditional and food grade wearing compounds for environments of high abrasion and repair.  The array of repair product solutions can be used for several applications and situations: concrete, mortar, rebar, wood, metal, steel, brick, stone, refineries, pulp & paper mills, chemical processing, manufacturing, power generation, fertilizer plants, food processing, cement mills, ready mix concrete plants, mining, and sewage treatment plants.

Metal Wear & Repair Compound is a machinable rebuild compound that is available in FDA compliance (CFR 175.105 & 175.300) and ceramic carbide.  Additionally, this product is chemical resistance to 10% acetic acid, ammonium hydroxide, butyl acetate, chlorides, hydrogen sulfide, isopropyl alcohol, mineral acids, 45% nitric acid, mild organic acids, most phosphates, most solvents, most sulfides, phosphoric acid, potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, 80% sulfuric acid, and trichloromethane.

Urethane cement solutions are heavy-duty polyurethane concretes for rake & trowel, slurry, and self-leveling applications.  These repair solutions have high temperature, impact, abrasion, and moisture vapor transmission (MVT) resistance.

Anchor epoxy is our epoxy adhesive compound for bonding, sealing, and fixing steel, concrete, and wood.  The duel cartridge solution is excellent in resisting distilled water, sodium hydroxide, xylene, isopropyl alcohol, petroleum products, and diluted acids.

Cement Mortar Level & Patch is a high-performance material intended for patching, repairing, and leveling various industrial sloping, horizontal, and vertical surfaces.  The level and patch solution has 5,500 psi compressive strength in 3 days and 8,000 psi in 28 days.  The vertical patch has 4,500 psi compressive strength in 3 days and 5,400 psi in 28 days.  Both have shown bonding strength of over 3,000 psi in 7 days.  These were evaluated based on ASTM C-109 and C882 testing specifications.
